Kaitlyn Sheapp
Au.D., CCC-ADr. Kaitlyn Sheapp, Au.D., CCC-A received her Bachelors in Hearing and Speech Sciences from the University of Maryland.
She then went on to receive her Doctorate in Audiology at Gallaudet University. Dr. Sheapp specializes in diagnostic hearing and balance testing, hearing aid evaluations, hearing aid fittings, and tinnitus assessments.
While at Gallaudet, Dr. Sheapp had the opportunity to learn sign language, work as a newborn hearing screener and flourish as a teaching assistant for the Diagnostic Audiology and Pediatric Audiology classes. She had clinical experiences at John Hopkins Hospital, a busy private practice in Virginia, as well at CADENT/ Siegel, Bosworth and Sorensen Division. Currently, Dr. Sheapp loves to teach graduate students and is an adjunct professor at Gallau
det University. She has taught the electrophysiology class and hopes to teach more classes in the future.
In her free time, you will find Dr. Sheapp in the kitchen cooking with her various kitchen gadgets, hiking, playing games and spending time with friends. As the office’s Sunshine Committee Director, she enjoys welcoming new staff and planning fun office events.
